SAPEC FOR HOUSEHOLD SOLID FUEL APPLIANCES

Used worldwide on Industrial coal fired boilers. SAPEC is now available

CLEANING BOILERS IS NO FUN

Cleaning the flue passes of a solid fuel boiler can be a very dirty and time consuming job. If the boiler is left for some time before cleaning the deposits become hard and are difficult to remove often leading to blockages and backfiring.

WHAT DOES SAPEC DO?

Sapec chemically alters the products of combustion giving what can be called a clean burn. Tars and smuts are prevented from forming and therefore are not emitted into the flue passes or the atmosphere.

Deposits are reduced and do not form hard build ups in the flue passes.

Only a light dust will deposit on the flues, which is easily brushed away. SAPEC and dramatically reduces the carbon content of the dust and as a result it will appear far lighter in colour.

WHAT WILL SAPEC ACHIEVE?

Boiler deposits are reduced throughout the boiler and stack making cleaning much easier.

SAPEC lessens the risk of blockages and backfiring.

Saves fuel

SAPEC maintains the heat transfer rates in the boiler, allowing it to work efficiently throughout the heating season.

SAPEC lessens the risk of chimney fires.

SAPEC CAN BE USED ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING APPLIANCES

  • ALL SOLID FUEL BOILERS
  • GRAVITY FEED BOILERS
  • MULTI FUEL COOKERS
  • WOOD BURNERS
  • STRAW BURNERS

HOW DO I USE SAPEC?
SAPEC is a preventative measure and should really be used when the boiler is clean.

STARTING WITH A DIRTY BOILER

For gravity feed boilers (shown in picture)/cookers, sprinkle 2-3 teaspoons of SAPEC over the fuel in the feed hopper every time it is filled. For multi fuel stoves, backburners and open fires sprinkle the treatment directly to the fire once a day. Allow 3-4 weeks for effect. The existing deposits will start to dislodge from the metal, but will still need to be removed physically.

STARTING WITH A CLEAN BOILER

Reduce dosage to 1-2 teaspoons as above

Regular use of SAPEC will ensure that the boiler flues and chimney remain free from hard scale and tar deposits. It is still important to remove the light, dusty deposits through regular brushing/cleaning.

The Domestic appliances shown in this brochure are all manufactured by Trianco Redfyre Ltd. Who recommend the use of SAPEC in all of their solid fuel appliances.

SAPEC IS NON TOXIC, NON VOLATILE AND COMPLETELY SAFE TO USE IN ANY QUANTITY
